The Iberostar Grand Packard occupies a historic building inaugurated in 1911, which was completely renovated and reopened in 2018. Its name is a tribute to the famous luxury automobiles, and it seeks to become an icon of the Cuban capital. The hotel's design is a harmonious blend of its classic façade and the ultra-modern structure on its upper floors. In the past, it was a refuge in Havana for figures such as poet Pablo Neruda and actor Marlon Brando. It is located next to iconic buildings such as the Velasco Palace and the National Capitol. It is a very short walk from the Museum of the Revolution (approximately 300 meters) and the National Museum of Fine Arts. Panoramic views: From the upper floors, especially from the pool, there are exceptional views of the entrance to Havana Bay, Morro Castle, and the Malecón.
